Description

We are renting out a furnished room in our town house in idyllic Utby in Eastern Gothenburg. The room contains a futon, a closet, book shelves, a desk, and a chair. It is ideal for the student or the visiting researcher. Electricity, heating, water, and recycling are included in the rent. There is a shared kitchen and shared dining space with a TV. The permanent residents of this house is an 82-year-old woman who worked as a Higher Secondary History teacher in her hometown Calcutta. She moved to Sweden in 1970, where she worked as a daycare mother and a secretary. Her daughter is a 41-year-old neuroscientist who was born in Gothenburg, has her background in BIoengineering from CTH and Biomedicine and Neuroscience from Karolinska Institutet. She has lived in five countries. The languages they speak are Swedish, English, Bengali, French, German, and Hindi. On their free time, they listen to music, sing, and go for daily walks.
